Ks. prof. dr hab. Andrzej Szostek has been on the staff of the Catholic University of Lublin since 1971 (KUL). In the years 1993-2002 he presided over the Department of Particular Ethics, to become (2002-2011) the head of the Chair of Ethics. He was awarded the title of full professor in 2001. His research interests deal with moral conscience and the question of its rationality, metaethics, social ethics, bioethics, ethical standards in science and humanities, the ethical and anthropological thought of Karol Wojtyła/Pope John Paul II. His research achievements are comprised of more than 200 publications in various branches of ethics (dealing with metaethics, ethical personalism, ethics and theology etc.). He has been the organiser and participant of numerous Polish and international conferences. He has been invited to lecture in academic institutions across Poland and abroad (Germany, the USA, Italy, Liechtenstein, Ukraine, Slovakia, Russia).

Rivista di studi sulla persona e la familia.”
