Dr Katarzyna Jarecka-Stępień

Graduate of the interdisciplinary PhD Programme at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In 2017, she joined the NCN where she mainly coordinates the work on the calls in the HS4 area. Fellow of the Foundation for Polish Science. Her research focuses on the conditions of humanitarian and development aid. She has conducted field research in Europe, Asia and Africa. Cooperates with Polish organisations involved in humanitarian and development aid in Asia and Africa, e.g. Polish Medical Mission. Author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and articles for the general public on the modernisation processes in Middle East and development aid.
