  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

    I am currently working at the School of Pharmacy, Hawassa University. I am interested in antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial drug discovery, diabetes mellitus toxicological study, herbal medicine, clinical trials, treatment outcome evaluations, and systematic review and meta-analysis. I have learned and applied skill in different software like Stata, Revman, SPSS and Graphpad prism. I have skills in bacterial culturing, plant material extraction, chromatographic techniques (TLC, HPLC and GC), spectroscopic techniques (NMR, MS), and hyphenated techniques (GC-MS, HPLC-GC). I have good knowledge in cell biology techniques such as genomics, proteomics and metabolomics) and also conducted and acquired good skills in animal study. I am associate Review Editor for Antimicrobial Resistance (specialty section of Frontiers in Tropical Diseases) and BMC systematic review. I have published several articles on AMR in reputable journals.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    I would like to join a project involving the development of novel and innovative interventions that are needed to better prevent and control the spread of AMR in a cost-effective way in resource limited settings. I can also join in cluster randomized trial evaluating effectiveness of AMR prevention and control strategies which can be scaled-up and applied to resource limited settings and Prescription Quality analysis on the impacts of AMR. I will vastly contribute in evidence synthesis.
