Our institute closely works with Federal and Provincial Nepalese government to work on generating evidences on AMR, and recommends needed policy and strategies based on the research evidence. We have multiple hospital and community sites within the country, where we are working to identify AMR and its impact. Based on this already established network, we have the advantage to cover multiple research questions in different settings as needed by the project. Apart from public health perspective, we also have state-of-the art Bio safety level 2 equivalent laboratory space, and high throughput nucleic acid characterising equipments along with dedicated staffs. If needed, for international transfer of biological specimen, we also have facility of dry ice transporter.
