Graduate of biotechnology at the Faculty of Biology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In 2009, she was awarded a PhD degree by the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kórnik.
Her research work focused on symbiotic relationships of fungi and trees as well as physiology and genetics of macromycetes. Co-author of several scientific publications, dissertation supervisor and PhD supervisor.
Cooperated with Polish and foreign research institutions. Completed a number of fellowships, e.g. at the INRA Centre de Nancy and Pennsylvania State University in State College. Was a principal investigators in research projects funded under SONATA and SONATA BIS.
Since March 2022 has worked as a coordinator for Life Science at the National Science Centre in Krakow.
